Day 1 – Boulder City

Day 2 – Hoover Dam & Nelson

• Visit Hoover Dam

• Check in and overnight stay at @vegasglampin
Day 3 – Nelson → Goodsprings → Las Vegas
• Check out Nelson ghost town
• Brunch at @pioneersaloonnevada
• Photo stop at Seven Magic Mountains
• Food tour in Downtown Las Vegas with @lipsmackingfoodietours
• Explore the nightlife at @fremontstreetexperience and @containerpark

![1st day of BHM and I have to repost one of my favorite videos! Salvador should be on everyone’s list 🫶🏾
Salvador, Brazil is estimated to have about 4 million inhabitants, and over 80% identify to having afro roots/heritage.
How to get here: We flew in through Rio de Janeiro into the Salvador airport (SSA)
Where to stay:
We split our time between two hotels.
Monte Pascoal Praia Hotel Salvador- located in Barra, you have direct beach access, and it’s a lovely location, a short Uber to places like Pelourinho
Hotel Deville Prime Salvador—located in Itapua, it was very nice but far from the things we wanted to do. The pros are that you are minutes from the beach and close to the airport as well.
What to do:
- Schooner Boat Trip to Frades Islands and Itaparica booked through Viator
- Cooking class and market tour booked through Your Tour Brazil (request Wilson as your guide!) @yourtourbrazil
- Anthropological City Tour with Your Tour Brazil
Attend Carnival! Dates for 2026 are Feb 12- 18th
- Visit the beaches- our favorites were Flamingo Beach and Barra Beach
Things I wanted to do but didn’t get a chance to:
- Attend an show with Balé Folclórico da Bahia
- Take a capoeira private lesson (booked through Airbnb Experiences)
Where to eat:
- Acaraje de Norma in Pelourinho
- Velho Espanha Bar e Cultura (seriously best bar)
- Casa di Vina in Itapua
- Sal e Brasa Steakhouse (our first true Brazilian steakhouse experience)
